First Day

I have never blogged before but am pretty excited to have the opportunity to make one for the first time for my class Reading and Responding to Children's Literature. Today in class we learned how to set up our blogs. I am truly amazed how easy it is to get your ideas out there for the whole world to read. If I had known that it was so easy (and free), I might have started one a long time ago. Who knows, it seems like everyone is blogging these days... There are even movies being made about Blogging. I just watched the movie Julie and Julia (by the way, it's a great flick and Julia Child is a pretty amazing person) that involves blogging. In the movie Julie writes a blog about her experience cooking through the entire Julia Child cookbook in year. This adds to my excitement about blogging because the movie is based on a true story about a girl named Julie who gets famous from her blogs. Who know's, maybe we will all end up famous by the end.
